Did
you get the message, Floyd Mayweather? MMA champion
showman-turned-boxer Conor McGregor wore a pin-striped suit finely
detailed with profanities to a Los Angeles event Tuesday to promote
their August boxing match. From a distance, it appeared as though the
UFC lightweight champion was wearing a normal three-piece pinstriped
suit while trading barbs with Mayweather. Upon closer review, however,
the Irishman’s pinstripes were revealed to be made up of the words “F---
You” repeated vertically. The suit was made by clothing label David
August.

Trump to Pat Robertson: Putin Would’ve Been Happier With Clinton

President
Trump thinks Russian President Vladimir Putin would be happier with a
President Hillary Clinton, especially when it comes to energy policy and
America’s military might. In a preview clip of the president’s sit-down
with 700 Club televangelist Pat Robertson, Trump said, “I’m a
big military person... [and] if Hillary had won, our military would be
decimated. Our energy would be much more expensive. That’s what Putin
doesn’t like about me.” He continued: “That’s why I say, ‘Why would he
want me? Because from day one I wanted a strong military, he doesn’t
want to see that. And from day one I want fracking and everything else
to get energy prices low and to create tremendous energy.” By contrast,
the president claimed, a President Clinton would benefit Putin on energy
policy: “He would like Hillary, where she wants to have windmills. He
would much rather have that because energy prices would go up and Russia
as you know relies very much on energy.” Trump lamented how people
believe the Kremlin wanted a Trump presidency, declaring to Robertson
that his administration has done “all the things that [Putin] would
hate, but nobody ever mentions that.”

Wray: ‘Wise’ to Tell FBI When Foreign Gov’t Offers Election Info
Christopher
Wray, President Trump’s FBI director nominee, said on Wednesday that it
would be “wise” for an individual approached by a foreign government
with election information to inform the FBI. Wray was reacting at his
confirmation hearing in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee to
Donald Trump Jr.’s meeting with a Kremlin-connected lawyer who claimed
to have dirt on Hillary Clinton, and the circumstances surrounding that
meeting. Wray added that the FBI should be informed of “any threat or
effort to interfere with our election by any nation state.” Trump Jr.
has shrugged off the meeting, calling it “a nothing.” He said he did not
inform his father that the June 2016 meeting, which was also attended
by Jared Kushner and Paul Manafort, took place.

State Department Paid $15K for Rooms at New Trump Hotel
David Ryder/Reuters
The State Department paid more than $15,000 for 19 rooms at the new Trump hotel in Vancouver in February, The Washington Post
reported Wednesday. This is the first evidence of the State Department
funding expenses at a Trump-brand property since President Trump took
office. Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump, their spouses, and Tiffany Trump
were all in attendance at the grand opening of the Vancouver tower. The
details of the expense’s invoice were redacted.
